Who we are
Mushrooms and More Inc. ("we", "us") is a wholesale distributor of gourmet mushrooms and specialty foods at 37 Fulton St, STE 3, White Plains, NY 10606. We are a subsidiary of Mushroom Squared Inc. You can reach us at support@mushroomsnmore.com or by text or phone at 1-888-855-5905.
What we collect
- Account details: your business name, the legal name and type of business, business and delivery addresses, a tax or resale certificate number where needed for tax and credit, and the names, email addresses and phone numbers of the people who order or pay for your business.
- Orders and deliveries: what you order, delivery dates and instructions, prices, invoices, payments, and proof of delivery, which can include a photo or signature.
- Messages: emails and text messages you send us, including orders, and our notes from calls we make to confirm who you are.
- Website use: basic technical information such as your browser and IP address, and cookies that keep you signed in and let us see, in a simple way, how the website is used. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use this information to confirm new accounts and logins (which can include a phone call to the number you give us), to take and deliver orders, to send invoices and collect payment, to keep our accounting records, to answer your questions, to send order receipts and service messages, to protect against fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal and tax obligations.
Texts and calls
When you text 1-888-855-5905 we read your message to take your order and reply to it. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts. To help read orders written in everyday language, we may use a service provider that processes the text of a message for us. Every order is still checked by our team.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, under their business terms, and only what is needed for the task. These include providers of website hosting, email, phone and texting, accounting, payment processing, delivery and shipping, and the service that helps us read order messages. We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our customers, staff or rights, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
QuickBooks
Our accounting is kept in Intuit QuickBooks Online. Our business system connects to our own QuickBooks Online company to record invoices, bills and payments. This connection is used only by Mushrooms and More Inc. for its own bookkeeping. We do not use it to access anyone else's QuickBooks data. Information held in QuickBooks is also covered by Intuit's own privacy statement.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as we do business with you, and afterwards for as long as we need it for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
How we protect it
We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us right away if you think it has been misused.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop non-essential messages, by contacting us. We may need to keep some records for legal and tax reasons.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
